I have never used river cane arrows. Do they fly just as good as the woodies?

Re: What did you do today ?

Well I dot up this morning and watched old Roger Raglin hunting videos. later I went and shot my selfbow so i am efficient enough to harvest a deer this year. I shot for about two and a half hours. Then I went in the house and made some sweet tea.

An ethical hunter is one that does the right thing when no one is looking. Ralph is 100% right. There is no IFs, ANDs, or BUTS about it. Its Been Awhile

Today was the first day since last bow season that I have brought out the Selfbow and actually took time to shoot. I will admit I started out pretty rusty but I ended very nicely.

I have lost plenty of arrows and i mean PLENTY, it happens. What i have learned is that by losing, and/or ruining arrows, it encourages you to become a better shot so that losing, and/or ruining arrows is few and far between.

When it comes to Wood or Carbon arrows its hard for me to choose. :? :?

What is your preference whether it be hunting, or target shooting?
Along with that what is the preferred broadhead you use?
