Do you fish from the bank or do you have a rig?

Anyone catching crappie yet? The weather in Oklahoma has been to cold and windy to let the water temps get right. I've got cabin fever, so at least tell me a fishin story even if it aint true.

Around here my best crappie fishing was done in the middle of winter. 18 degrees F and a little windy. The big boys seem to out more. Sorry, no pics. The biggest was just shy of 17 inches. It seems like we caught around 30 that day.
Swift, silent, and covered with wood shavings.
