In 1953 my dad was doing research over the summer at Coconut Island on chumming for yellowfin tuna. He had half a dozen or so in one of the fish ponds there. Somehow a hammerhead shark got in there and wiped out his stock of tuna, a major setback for him!

Ulua are there now. They moved the dolphins to a undisclosed location, but if you walk out and throw your hands up in the air (like throwing smelt) they will hit the top of the water, So any Opelu bait with a hook with do the trick, but they are leaving , not like it use to be.

Not really fair fishing, but keeping one on the line is 70/30 in favor of the fish.... :rolf:

lookin good there sunny and fresh fish for dinner - snow here and 28 out side and no fresh fish just frozen trout for dinner. :mrgreen: ....................................
