New Arrows

Just finished a half dozen arrows for my selfbow. 11/32 Poplar shafts with Magnus 125gr two blade heads.

Love the smell of freshly burned feathers

Nice arrows ...........I recently pulled an arrow out of my quiver to show a guy the arrow heads I shot my first deer with and the arrow head had came off......I used fletch tite glue and it didn't hold . What do you use for wood arrows ? This was an arrow I haven't shot yet .

I use ferr-L-tite cement like this.

First make sure you clean the ferrule with alcohol or acetone to get all the dirt and oil out of it and then score the inside with a tap or something to give the glue some more gripping surface.

I test shot these arrows into an expanding foam target several times before I sharpened them and didn't have any of them come off.

Hope you put those to good use. I traded for some Fir shafts and some Spruce shafts. I need to make a dozen for my Trade Bow I got this year that is shooting great. Figured out what spine and length of arrow it likes so I'm on my way.

These arrows fly great out of my Bear Kodiak 35@28. Swapped the broadheads out for field points and used them at a 3D shoot yesterday at Three Trails in Pleasant Hill, Mo. Long drive but a fun afternoon.
