My Name is Steve Abbott, I have been shooting and hunting with what are now known as traditional bows since 1961. Abbott Longbows has evolved from my love of this great sport. Each bow is crafted by me personally, from harvesting and seasoning the wood, cutting and tapering the laminations, to applying the finish. Being a one man operation, I can produce only a very limited number of bows, but this is the only way to ensure the quality I demand. Keeping overhead down enables me to produce a top quality bow, built with the finest materials and uncompromising craftsmanship at a reasonable price. My goal is to build a bow you'll be proud of, whether stump shooting with friends or hunting alone. I use a reflex deflex design which has proven to be superior for combined smoothness of draw, arrow speed and low hand shock. My grip is designed to fit the hand and is wrapped with deer hide. Bows come with flemish fast flight string. I stand behind a 5 year warranty on materials and craftsmanship.
