Thanks for the information friends. Don't forget you can still dip your carbon arrows too after cresting. I just did a set of Byron Ferguson Heavy Hunters.

First use mineral spirits or nail polish remover and take of all lettering and logo's.

Sand lightly with Scotchbrite

Wipe with rubbing alcohol

Dip, dry, scotchbrite, dip again, dry and crest away.

It gives traditional "look" carbons an even deeper, richer look. I use High Gloss Minwax for a great finish and no the deer don't see it. I also wear after shave while hunting just to give them a fair chance! :lol:
