I built a number of rifles a few years back

1. Deer creek kit (replace orignal lock) 45 cal - awesome shooter and known deer killer!

2. 54 cal maple with poured pewter cap and a couple of inlays.

3 50 cal Walnut with poured pewter cap and some brass tacks

Thanks for looking and keep your powder dry

Nice collection ................ The Renegade is my favorite gun , I don't care all the shiny brass on BP guns and my scratch built gun has no brass on it .

Nice collection! 8-)
Mine is a little smaller now- traded the 54 Hawken and Interarms set off for a Ruger #3.
Still got the Renegade, and the Hawken 45 rock lock. :D
I'm watching for an Underhammer in 45 caliber.
Someday, I'll come across another.
I should NEVER have EVER traded the Hopkins & Allen 45 I had off, years ago.

The T/C Renegade always seemed to make more sense to me than their Hawken. However the Hawken was the one I bought.

And a Lefty too! Great! :applaud:

IMHO, I think the Renegade should have had the longer barrel that the Hawken has; and you are right, it makes more overall sense.

This thread is is a blast. I never tire of looking at good guns. More fun than a Sears & Roebuck catalog.

I like the Junk Shop find, too! :applaud:
A CVA with a Douglas barrel- LUCKY.
That 12 ga. smoothie is really nice, too. :77:
I love running on to hidden treasures in places like that- too bad I don't get out more often to places like that.
