First powder horn and a couple of other things

Post by Pete Joy » Fri Dec 25, 2015 8:00 pm

Made my first powderhorn the other day in preparation of when I finally get a muzzleloader ☺ I also did some carving on my knife and built a sheath for it,made a shot bag,and made a couple of fish hooks from carp spines and bamboo.

Just made a powder measure from antler aged with tea and scraped back to white. Should hold 3 drams/80 grains in theory but I'll tweak it once I get my rifle and work out a load

You're truly fully addicted, Pete !

I especially like that you used the K.I.S.S. principle when fashioning accessories.... :77:
