OK, Talk To Me

Postby KsBow » Thu Jun 18, 2015 12:27 pm

OK, I need reports from ALL my OSS family. Talk to me about rain, how much, flooding, problems with water, help needed, etc.
I need to find out about Mark Turichi, his phone says it's disconnected. Leslie and Nancy, I know you guys are in the bullseye too. How bout it.
Finally, how bout around Perkins and Ed's place. Will I need a boat or can I get my camper in?

Ralph,
I live about 15 miles west of Leslie and Nancy. We had some major flooding. Pretty much every major highway in this area was shut down last night. I got stuck in a little town for about six hours. I was heading west bound trying to get home when I came to a road block turned around to head back to ardmore and they had closed the east bound lanes behind me. So I was stuck. Anyway I'm sure that Leslie and Nancy are fine, though they may have some property damage.
I just talked to Mike on the phone he said Perkins got just under an inch of rain last night. The major rain missed the Farm. See you guys there

Ralph, I talked to Marc and he is OK even though flooding in area.
He said he would call you. Tecumseh area has a little high water blocking roads and some gravel road problems but you can still get around. We are headed to summer camp early in the morning so maybe roads will be opened back up so we can get there.
See ya tomorrow,

Thanks guys. Did talk to Mark, he's fine. I knew that all around Ardmore it was really bad. Guess Texhoma needs to be letting some out. I ready for some sunshine. See you all at camp.

Doug says it isn't bad. The soft ground may get torn up if driven on a lot. Pull in and park on the first try!

As much as I want to attend I'm out again this year. Been too much Grandpa duty, work, appliance moving, etc. that I haven't had any time to try and pack.

Now it's been raining pretty hard for two days, not as much as the OKC region, and now I get to pump more water out of the basement. :(
