Went to the Archery Collectors Show in Sidney, NE. last weekend, met a bunch of great collectors, and saw some fantastic displays of collections. If you ever get a chance to go to one of these, you won't regret it.

I traded for 6 broadheads, bought 1, and gained 60 through the generosity of several ABCC members, came up with a Bod-Kin sign and a 20 fish point collection framed, traded books and a quiver for heads that will be sent to me later

I suggest your first step would be to join the American Broadhead Collector's Club.

The ABCC yearly membership dues have gone up and the application is in the process of some changes.

To get the current information, contact:

Greg Schwehr, ABCC Membership Chairman at

Rick, your collection is building fast, its addicting for sure. I picked up 2 of these just lately 788 forged # 0187.000 very hard to find rarity rating of 20. and the extra one is spoken for already in a trade. They are in great condition too, see photo. Ron.

Ron....great find on the 788 forged ABCC # 0187.000 8-) That would be a great addition to any collection.

Thanks...my collection really took off after going to Compton's, and the Archery Collector's Show. Mainly to the generosity of several ABCC members.

Rick, thats how I got started also, the generousity of ABCC members is something, men like Lamont Granger, Stan Testke, Don Williams, Dave Mayer,Chuck Homitz, Wade Phillps and his identification guides were a big plus. There are to many members to mention them all.The older members are good at sharing info. I have only been at it 4 yrs and have about 600 or so mostly glue ons, I am mainly interested in older broadheads. I am limited on space. Ron R.

I would love to see or get ahold of one of Rogers old Brisket Cutters (Pre Snuffer)
Made from Pearson Deadheads as a three blade. Has any one seen one of these?

Another head I would love to see is in Fred Bears field notes he spoke of a duplicate of the Razor Head but 1.5 inches wide. Has anyone found one of these?

The old Snuffers are " Biscuit Cutters" and the Bear Giant Razorhead as far as I know there are only two known. one is in the P&Y collection and Wade Phillips has the other.
