finishing off with 2000 but if you do not have real smooth spray gun finish and it has a bit of texturey look you can use 1200 grit first then 2000 bd

For hand polishing of new finish like removeing wet sanding marks.
Apply 3-4 drops on a cotton towel folded into a pad.
Work only a small area at a time.
Using straight back and forth montion rub until it disappears into the finish.
DO NOT wait for a haze like wax.
The first applacation will lieve a soft frost looking finish to your new finish.
Each hand rubbed applacation of bd's will make your new finish look clearer or actually producing a nearly scratch free totaly tansparent finish.

bowdoc, can I use that over Tru Oil? Will the finish eventually come back to a mirror, or is this for a matte finish look?
