Ernie Root by Larry Root (his son)

Postby blackfeet1954 » Sun Apr 07, 2013 9:08 am

There wasn't a lot of information about Ernie Root online. About two months ago his son, Larry Root, began sharing his knowledge about his father, Root Archery and Shakespeare Archery. I contacted Mr. (Judge) Root and he agreed to use my blog VINTAGE SHAKESPEARE / ROOT ARCHERY to post information, it is a real honor!!!!

That is great news! Ernie didn't get much attention compared to Fred Bear or Ben Pearson, but his bows were just as good IMHO

I have a couple of Root bows myself.
Interesting article.
