Black Hawk Short Bee

Postby highnoonhunter » Mon Nov 11, 2013 11:39 pm

I have a Black Hawk Short Bee 50@28 and 60 inch amo. The string I have on it is an endless loop storebought. It makes the bow have what seems to me a very high brace height.... around 8 inches. The measured string length is 56 inches.

I want to make a flemish string for it. So I'm wondering if anyone knows the correct brace height for this bow?

But first, before you can blow the bugle horn, or follow the hounds, you must be content to chase the woodpecker.

60 AMO inch recurve takes a 56 inch flemish string. the brace height will come into play when braced. it's hard to say pending the deflex of the riser.

The bow should tune within 2-5 twists plus or minus to quiet
