Still keeping you both in prayer. Hang tough guys!
Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.

Aloha
6:30 pm Hawaii time I got a cell call from the Alpha Female, she was able to get up and sit in a chair this evening (with lots of help) They finally have a handle on the pain medication for her.

I sat with her for four hours today and got to talk with each Dr. all seem to thing maybe Saturday she might come home.
We just take it slow by slow. she's been sleeping alot today so the drugs have made the pain subside enough for her to get restful sleep, unlike last night.

It's a day by day thing and it can only get better, as long as she doesn't over due it. but she is very good about listening to her body pain wise.

She ask me to bring some tapes and a player so she's in the mind set of listening to instructional tapes.

So maybe she will be home by Saturday, lets keep our fingers crossed and our faith that it will happen.

Aloha

The Cancer surgeon got the pathology report back yesterday. She said with a big smile you made the correct choice in having the Total Bi mastectomy done. Guess there was bad stuff that never showed up on any tests in the other side, which was deemed "clear" by the standard tests. We are ahead of this nasty thing , not chasing it.

Still looking at a Saturday come home date, each day is better and better.

Thanks guys for the support and prayers.

D`evi got to come home this mornin. The Surgeon removed one of the four drains they put in during the surgery, the others should hopefully be removed on her Tuesday follow up appointment.

For the most part, she is in good sprits and glad to be home. Just to set in her own chair felt great.
Wolfpup is here for two weeks to keep an eye on her while I'm at work this week.
I know I've said it before, but Thank you for the prayers and support and PMs and the phone calls.

It's good to have her back home, but she did say when she walked in...Did you vacumn?

:rolf: That gave me a nice chuckle! I can relate.

SO glad she is home! That is GREAT news! Now just tell her to take it easy and make sure Wolfpup keeps her in check during this time. Hide all cleaning supplies.

Glad to know she is home.

Mark as you know, we been praying for you and Bonnie from the green screen. I can not think of a more worse situation in life to be touched by cancer, but I just got done praying for you two, and Bonnie especially in this trying time. My own wife has a pre-cancerous condition that I have not shared with anyone.

I do pray for releaf and that they got everything that is bad, and pray all is good from here on out.

Keep us in the loop, as many on a prayer chain are involved from miles across the pond.

God's Blessings to Bonnie and you thru this.
Jon

Dagone Cottonwood,

Jon we're prayin for both of ya. it's not just one persons battle. We are here for you if ya need. sometimes a like minded person is a goodin to just sit and listen with ya.

I guess it's something you don't pay any attention to till it affects you and your.
Sorta like being pregnant you never noticed how many there were all around you till it happens to you.
My one advice is... get ahead of it what ever it takes.

Glad to hear she is home, such good news. My Bonnie the first time home after 6 weeks in the hospital laid on the bed and cried for a half hour, kept asking what was wrong she said it felt so good to be in her own bed. So anyways that being home is important. Prayers sent that the monster stays away for everyone that has to endure this. Cottonwood prayers sent my friend. DAVE

Home the greatest place on Earth,Spouse is there, Family is there,Sense of being grounded is there.
Very sensitive statement. You looked at it as something wrong, but she saw her base and it was very comforting.

The Dr appointment today was mixed, she had one drain removed, but she also got a scolding for "doing to much" the only time she is to get up....Bathroom....that's it.

Saturday morning she might get the other drains removed, we shall wait and see. She's too use to getting up getting a drink, walk around (bored or trying to walk pain off) he said...no more stay down.

Cottonwood what is your wife's first name? if you don't want to post it please PM me

Were are still praying for the group. Hang in there guys, we're needed more now than ever..

Well, all the drains have been removed. The Dr had high praise for her with the healing process, no redness on the scars, evertything is ahead of where someone should be.

She can start to do some arm lifts and at the next appointment in 2 weeks from now she should be able to extend her arms out to the sides and lift them shoulder height. he gave her some tips on how to preceed. so if she don't over do she'll be ok, he said the muscles need to be exercised and start to be stretched.

She still has some uncomfortable places and spots that just plain hurt. but as time goes on he said it will get to be less and less.

Good news all around..

Aloha and Thank you for the prayers and support.
